No this story isn’t belong to today’s epoch of development, it’s something like a blast from past. The fact would be pretty surprising for you. In 1983, to encourage literacy in Pakistan and foster reading habits, The Asia Foundation undertakes a major project to provide “Box Libraries” throughout the Pakistan, utilizing buses as mobile libraries.
That specific Book Bus used to stand in a small park in Gulberg, near Main Market.
