According to the media reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the work on the mega project of CPEC City on 18 November 2020. The project is to build under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor near Rashkai, a town in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
“The city will be built under the CPEC Project and will consist of education and commercial zones, public buildings, apartments, golf course, theme park, and sports facilities,” said Federal Minister for Defense Mr. Parvez Khatak.
He also claimed that a large number of industrial units will be installed in this City. This will create huge job openings for the residents of Rashakai and nearby areas of KPK.
Parvez Khattak said that PM will launch this project while addressing a public gathering in Abakhel, Nowshera. He also hoped that the residents of Nowshera will pay a warm welcome to their leader. They will thank him for this mega project which will be a game-changer for the people of KPK.
CPEC is having a worth of $60 billion. It is connecting Kashgar in China with Pakistan’s strategic Gawadar port in Balochistan on the Arabian Sea.
