A remarkable art institute, hub of creativity in Lahore. Established during British era and located next to Lahore museum, National College of Arts (NCA) is a pioneer of art and modern architecture. Earlier it was named as Mayo School of industrial Art and in 1958 it was renamed as National College of Arts by Government of Pakistan. The college offers degrees of graduate, postgraduate and professional diplomas in variety of disciplines including fine arts, communication designs, media arts, interior designing and others. Here, one can see an amazing blend of socio-economic diversity as students come here from all parts of the country.
In 2011 NCA granted the status of federal University, though it has already got a status of ” mother of all art institutes in Pakistan“. This institute has always offered a healthy creative environment in the desire to achieve excellence in art education.
