The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) that is being held at National Stadium Karachi has been postponed due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. This decision is taken for the health of players as some players and officials got affected by the pandemic wave.
On the official Twitter page of the Pakistan Super League, this sad breaking news struck hard on the hearts of PSL fans.
A meeting of PCB Officials with the PSL team owners was held. Considering the health and well-being of players and the officials, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to postpone the PSL-6 with an immediate effect.
According to sources, around seven corona patients were detected after the start of PSL on 20th February.
The CE of Pakistan Cricket Board Mr Wasim Khan will hold a press conference at 3 pm at National Stadium Karachi. In his media conference, he will provide updates about this decision of postponed PSL 6.
